How Mokhu truly came to life.
In the spring of 2021, life brought us to a place we never expected.
For over a month, I sat by my mother’s bedside in the hospital alongside my father, watching
her fight a battle against COVID-19—a battle she ultimately lost. During those endless nights
and uncertain days, we weren’t just fighting for her life—we were also silently watching our
own world fall apart. My father, a doctor, had to shut down his clinic to stay with us. There
was no one to run it in his absence. The medical bills kept rising. The emotional and financial
weight kept growing.

Eventually, we moved into our first office. It was a small space, but it felt like a new beginning. With every order placed and every spreadsheet reviewed, we realized something powerful: We weren’t just building for ourselves anymore. We were building a pathway for others too.
